HOW TO

ENTER

New to racing, welcome aboard! Check out the info below to find out some more info on how to get involved with our events.

WELCOME TO ENDURO

Enduro is the most fun you can have on two wheels, that’s what we think anyway…

Welcome to a passionate community of riders, racers, and families who bring our event weekends to life every season. Built on camaraderie and healthy competition, our races offer an unforgettable atmosphere where everyone shares the same trail and passion. Whether you are chasing a series title or entering your very first event, there are zero prerequisites or qualifications required to line up at the start line.

Most of our events make up a season-long series where points accumulate after each round, but every race stands alone, allowing anyone to jump in at any time. The Enduro format combines timed downhill stages with untimed uphill or flat transfer liaisons, rewarding riders who can balance technical bike handling with physical fitness across diverse terrain. Competitors have the rare opportunity to race right alongside friends, family, and the country’s top riders in the same event. While downhill stages demand your absolute fastest run, the untimed liaisons give you time to recharge, with total course completion windows averaging three to five hours depending on your category.

BEEN HERE BEFORE?

In that case head straight to our Event Calendar and sign-up for the races. See you on the trails!

Let’s get you entered…

Step 1 – Get AusCycling Insurance

As our events are sanctioned through Auscycling, all competitors must have Auscycling Insurance. Insurance allows you to use our on-course medic services (ProMed Tasmania) and allows competitors to make claims through AusCycling. More information available here on the Auscycling website.

Auscycling offers a number of Insurance Options for Competitors

If you are signing up for an annual license, choose your favourite MTB club when prompted in the sign-up process. It’s free and helps support local trail development and advocacy in your area. We strongly encourage anyone riding a bike (particularly our ‘Chaperone’ riders) to have Auscycling Lifestyle Insurance. It’s very affordable and will help us ensure all riders on the trails are covered, protecting TasGrav Events, the landowners and all affiliates and helps grow our sport by supporting Auscycling.

The Off-Road Membership is the best option for Mountain Biking, and will even cover you during recreational riding.

Once you have your insurance confirmed, make note of your Auscycling Membership Number and enter it into Eventplus portal when wigning up for the races (see next steps).

Step 2 – Sign up to Eventplus

Entry for all of our events now takes place through the Eventplus platform. It only takes a few minutes to create a new rider profile, and it’s free. Parents and guardians can add children under their own profile, allowing for multiple race entries in the same process. You will also have the ability to self-manage your entry, and transfer or change categories down the track if required. We’re confident this system will make your life easier and speed up the entry process for each race. Sign up as a ‘Participant’ with  Eventplus here – https://eventplus.net/me

Step 3 – Get your gear ready!

Your bike must be in good working order, handlebars with endplugs, working brakes front and rear, and good tyres. All riders must have a Full Face Helmet. Helmets with detachable chin-guards are permitted.

All under 17 competitors (which includes the categories U10, U13, U15 and U17) MUST have elbow pads, knee pads and full fingered gloves. No gear, No ride, No refund.

Leading into event weekends the ‘Competitor Information’ will be released and this will have detailed information on racing rules and regulations.

If you have any questions in regards to racing rules and regulations, please get in touch with our AusCycling guru – doug@tasgravityenduro.com.au
